Initial Assessment
We don't charge for our Initial Assessments.
In this appointment, we will get to know your health and situation, thoroughly test structures and decide the best practitioner and best course of action for your body. All cases are sorted by severity and divvied out to the most appropriate practitioner, which will be determined in this session.
This initial includes gentle manipulations and a general treatment, that will set your body up for success with further treatments.

First Follow Up
In the beginning stages of treatment, we are mostly testing and treating the lower half of the body. As the pelvis is our centre of mass, as well as the meeting point of forces from the ground below and gravity above, it is crucial to the health of the body. The success of future treatments has to have this lower foundation clear of mechanical stressors.
-
Second Follow Up
In the middle of the treatment process, we will be testing and correcting the thorax, or middle of the body. As we've set a level foundation in the first treatment, we will move our way systematically through the body to ensure that when we get to the neck, head and face, there are no contributing factors from structures below it.
-
Third, Fourth & Fifth Follow Up
Having thoroughly assessed all structures of the body, these follow up treatments are used to further treat the mechanical pattern that we've found and documented in the process.
This can include treatment to the abdomen or visceral field, cervical spine, cranial, or any other structure that needs further treatment.
At this point, we will have a very good idea whether your issues are acute or chronic, and what further treatments are required. If the patient has no noted improvements by this stage, they will be referred out to another provider. We will never allow patients to pay for a service that they are not benefiting from.
MOST people do not actually need more than these five treatments, unless advised by the practitioner.

Why This Process
The body is a very complex piece of machinery. The standard mechanical things like pulleys, levers and wedges exist in the form of bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles and fascia. Each of these structures have their own unique characteristics, and need to be treated as such.
In conjunction with these structures exists the nerves that tell tissues what state to exist in, as well as arteries, veins & lymphatic vessels that supply nutrition, and remove wastes from all of the above.
In order to truly find the causation of dysfunction in the human body, we require a incredibly detailed, specific and unique approach to sort through the endless variables. Our systemic approach allows us to check off variables as we go. We may not treat your area of complaint right away because of these steps, however it will allow your practitioner to know with confidence the causation of your symptoms.
None of the above will apply to every single patient. The body must be given what it needs, some patients may never need to have further follow ups.
